Pantropiko is a pocket dimension described by a tropical island where inhabitants relive the same perfect day in a loop. Every night, they are presented with the option to stay or leave Pantropiko. If they choose to leave, they must return to their regular lives without any recollection of Pantropiko. If they choose to stay, they will wake up once more to relive the perfect day without any memory of having experienced it in the past.

You are the protagonist in an apocalyptic novel. You are aware of this because a reader from the real world has transmigrated and told you about this, as well as the bad ending written out for you in the future. The reader dedicates themselves to help you reach a happy ending and helps you survive the apocalypse. But by the end of the novel, the god that caused the apocalypse asks you to choose how you want to end your story: a happy ending where you survive but the reader dies or a bad ending where you die but the reader lives.

The US-Iran relations had been heavily influenced by Iran's nuclear program. As a result of the 2024 elections, Nicolas Maduro begins his third consecutive term as President with disputes from the opposition regarding the integrity of the results. Tallies in individual polling stations point to Opposition candidate, Edmundo Gonzalez, winning the elections by a wide margin despite the official results. As a result, there had been protests, a formal case brought up to the Supreme Tribunal, and external pressure from Brazil and countries that refuse to recognize Maduro’s presidency to redo the elections. 

Despite this, Venezuelan Opposition leader Maria Corina Machado rejected the proposal for a reelection, further splintering the Venezuelan Opposition.

In 2019, the state of Kashmir had been stripped by the Indian Government of its semi-autonomy and made it a federally controlled area. To express dissent, Kashmiris have refused to participate in India’s national elections, resulting in a low voter turnout from Kashmir. 

Recently, India decided to hold an Assembly elections in Kashmir for the first time in a decade which grants elected Kashmiris limited legislative power primarily over legislation on education and culture. Legislation for the Kashmir region would still be held by India's parliament while policy decisions will be made in the capital.

In the context of religion, asceticism refers to the abstinence of worldly pleasures (e.g. material possessions, physical pleasures) in pursuit of finding purpose, seeking redemption, salvation, or higher forms of spirituality and faith. The trade-off that believers make when they abandon and let go of such pleasures is usually regarded as an act of faith or a moral good done by a faithful follower.

Mandatory arbitration refers to the requirement a company imposes upon an employee to submit any dispute that may arise between parties which is binding, and it is usually a condition of employment. Parties have the chance to present their cases to a third party called an 'arbitrator' and be bound to the arbitrator's decision. This proceeding requires parties to waive specific rights such as the right to sue and the right to appeal any decisions, and the results are not public.

Going back to the closet refers to the act of queer individuals who had been publicly open about their sexuality and gender, to revert back to no longer disclosing queerness.
